Weekly Surveillance

Illness Surveillance

If you start to experience any symptoms related to COVID-19 but not on your scheduled day:

  1. Take & ship your illness respiratory sample -  Instructions for a respiratory sample
     
  2. Contact the study team via phone (520-848-4026) or email (azheroes@arizona.edu)

 

For this study, any one of the following is considered a symptom related to COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Change in taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhea

Blood Draw

 

 

 

An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed the research project and found it acceptable, in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
